I have recently purchased a sony xperia pro and i am awaiting the delivery and after reading many bad things about the update to ice cream sandwich , i was wondering if all those problems had been fixed now and if any one would advise me to update?

if you update to ICS and you don't like it, you have 2 options

1) take your phone to a Sony repair center to downgrade your phone

or

2) use flashtool

Do you know how long it would take for them to downgrade it? Like would it be done on the same day?

Noticeable lag? And is it possible to still play games on it?

there are some games that don't quite work, and it shouldn't take more than 1hour to downgrade flashtool takes few minutes.

OH OK thanks, do you know if some games work with the keyboard and will most games work with gingerbread , the original software?

there are issues with some games not working with ICS, as for the keyboard usually games do not work with the keyboard but you should check each game.
