Sony Xperia SP LTE Hard Reset

I've recently found my old phone, but I can't remember the passcode. Any time I try to do a hard reset (power on whilst holding volume buttons etc.) the phone just switches back on. None of those hidden menu codes work either.

Is there any way I could factory reset the phone? It isn't connected to wifi.

Hi @srb0t, welcome to our forum!

You can't factory reset the phone by pressing any kind of combinations of buttons, this needs to be done either from the Settings menu of the phone (not in your case since you can't unlock the phone) or by performing a software repair using Xperia Companion.

Do note that all data stored on the internal storage will be deleted when performing a software repair and since the phone can't be unlocked, a backup can't be created.
