Sony Xperia T not turning on

Hi

My 6 month old sony xperia T was fine today about 2 hours ago (sufficient battery too). When I checked it 5 mins later it wouldn't turn on and hasn't since.

If I press the power button a little white light flashes on the LED bit for a split second, then nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Having the same problem, if it not connected to the charger, nothing happens when I press the on button. If it plugged in the red led comes on.

I have tried the power button and vol down button for 20 sec, and have to wait for an hour to see if the power on and vol up option works.

The first question I have is must I see any thing when I get to the 8 count?

Will update later with results.

OK pressed the on and vol up button for 8 sec nothing happen, waited for an hour and still nothing.

Now I pressed the vol up and power button together, with the phone plugged into the charger.

I switched the charger of and on a few times, while holding the buttons, I got a vitiation, with a delay and another 2 vibrations, its still just off giving it an 1/2 hour to charge, not holding my breath as there is no red light indicating charge.

Will update soon

It working

I tied a rubber band round the phone so the on button to keep it  presses, swiched the charger on and off until red led was solid all the time. Waited for about an hour, leaving the charger pluged in, and removing the rubber band, the phone rebooted.

The only question I have Sony why does the phone do this, and why no step by step resolution on how to solve.
