xperia go has no network signal and I need to reboot my phone to be able have a network signa.
I am sure this not a sim card or a network provider problem because in my previous phone I never experienced this problem.
This is so annoying I missed a lot of calls.
Is this bug on the firmware of XPERIA 2012 Family?
You can see the red x mark at the top of signal bars indicating that there is no signal.
Same problem here. Full factory reset, new sim card, re install firmware and problem presist
guys how did you installed the firmware on the phone...Did you used Sony Bridge..? Should not be done from phone. Yes I have two phones and they both were acting up when used th TMOBILE sim. Now the one on ATT is working ok didnt do anything to that one. the one I am using with the tmobile sim car I reinstalled the firmware using bridge for mac and it work perfectly.
I have not tried swapping SIM and i think it is not carrier's problem because previews device was working perfectly. I contacted with support and they said that I have to wait till beginning of august - the time when they expect to release new filmware update. they also said that this is one of the main problems of Xperia U, P, Sola and Go devices.
GUYS!! I think I FOUND DECISION on russian forums how they fixed this. I risked and flashed radio modul from Xperia P using Flashtool and device is working perfectly since I did it till now. I hope it will be forever)))
what is the solution on the russian forum? any risks? is it working perfectly for u now or is it best to wait till d beginning of august?
heard about that radio module ...if mine goes out again will try that...
I think I will wait upgrade in august. But I think I completely fixed this till begining of august )))
For those who know russian:
http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=338262&st=460#entry14298237
For those who don't:
1. download and install Flashtool here or other places
2. install flashmode and flashboot drivers from *.*\Flashtool\drivers\ folder
3. download this radio module, unrar and put it to *.*\Flashtool\firmwares\
4. open flashtol -> press "flash" icon -> choose "Flashmode" -> choose LT22i Device - > press OK
5. turn off your device -> press and hold volume "-" hardware button, then plug USB cable in your device. You can see green LED light on your phone
6. hold the button till you see "Flashing finished"
Dont afraid to lose you contacts etc. it flashes only radio module NO contacts or settings will be removed. It is not official method so I think there are the risks I dont know whish ones.
I bought the phone two days back (in India) and am facing the same problem, i.e. network signal disappearing randomly and sometimes coming back by itself, else only upon restart. Additionally, today I have been facing a new problem - random phone reboot! I have performed a 'repair' operation using Sony PC companion and am praying for some better results. I would like Sony to shed some light on these problems, and also to confirm whether we should wait for a firmware upgrade or take it to the service center...
I have 2 days without problems since I flashed another radio module (see instruction above). Support center won't help you till first part of august or later.
Just flashed it using your method...will let you know how it went...my method did failed after two days.. hope this one is the right way..
thanks Alex
