Xperia ion hard bricked

Hi,

I need help with my xperia ion lt28h..

After installing a .zip (Smooth ion) through CWM Recovery, my phone restarted n booted up normally to the lock screen. After i unlocked the screen, it went blank so I pressed the power button and the normal power off button (and some others) appears, so i power off the phone and it went to a boot loop.

I tried pressing the Volume up + power button and connecting it to flashtool by pressing the volume down button and inserting the usbto flash a new firmware but nothing appeared on flashtool

I tried the Volume up + power button again and again and still nothing.. I then pressed Volume up + power button again but longer and received 2 or 3 vibrations (i can't remember) and now the phone is just Dead. No Screen,No LED light, nothing :'( 

I tried charging it for 2+ hours and tried connecting it to my pc to see if it does anything but apparently nothing happens.

Somebody please help me :'( This is my only phone and I have no other

Xperia ion LT28h

Firmware: 6.0.F.0.72 (LT28i 's Firmware)

Bootloader: Unlocked

And Rooted with Busybox installed

I know this is not the exact place to ask for help, but i'm really desperate

What's the status of your phone now ?

try force restarting and shutdown

USB debugging is not needed for flashing, so don't worry.

It is in OFF mode since last month. I cant turn it ON. While charging shows strong RED LED.

No response when pressing power on and combination button for soft/force restart.

After charging 16+ hours red led went off.Again try to turn ON but no response so charged it again so back with strong RED LED.

When try to flash it , i can get in to flashmode and flash process shoes 100% on flashtool and at the end flashtool says disconnect your device and turn on.For flashing USB debugging and unknown sources should be checked in setting.And when after flashing try to ON it wont start.

So please Nabeel find some solution for my ION , stuck in it for one and half month.

Man are you serious ?

You're phone has been in coma for over a month now and you still haven't get your phone examined at service center.

It's probably a hardware damage friend and the only option is to visit service center.

I have already sent it once for repair but they didnt find any hardware problem at all.

And even he can't even load ant firmware on my ION.

So I decided to turn ON by getting help from this forum .

It just shows only RED LED on charging.

I can get in to flashmode.

2 times my display was blinking for near about 5-7 min.

Is there any solution?

To be honest, there is no exact solution.

It's just that whenever a phone gets bricked, it charges really slowly. Moreover it's not detected/ flashed by PCC / SUS / Flashtool if the battery is low.

Now what you should try to do is, charge continuously for a day or so. Then flash it using flashtool and try to switch it on by force restarting it ( not the normal way )

Press and hold the power button + Volume Up button for

5 seconds > ( 1 Vibration ) Force restart

10 Seconds > ( 3 Vibrations ) Force shutdown

If this doesn't work then RIP Ion

Neighter getting 1 nor 3 vibration at all.

Nabeel, i am facing the same issue oyhens had faced.

After a long charging cycle ( around 4 hrs) its showing Red LED.

I bricked my phone while flashing a paranoid android rom ( Forgot to flash the boot.img and directly flashed the rom file!)

At least for now phone responds to long press of power and volume button (1 vibration n 3 vibration)

Keeping my fingers crossed to recover my phone

Hi Nabeel,

This is the log of flashing i did.  Please let me know if it was successful.. During flashing the LED turned Green and now i have put back the cell to charging.

I am hoping my phone will be alright !

I plugged into charger after Flashing and my phone is up and running again!
