Hi everyone,
There are a couple of months that my cell phone is a bit strange, specially when I'm trying to write some SMS messages.
The problem only appears a few hours after turning on the phone. I mean, when it has just been turned on, everything is OK. Then, about 5 hours later, it becomes strange.
This is the point: when I'm writing a SMS message, the keyboard responses take a lot of time until become impossible to write. Sometimes, when it happens, I can't even open any received message. The lag also happens when trying to open the contacts list.
Can someone help me with it? I really apreciate any kind of answer.

Hi, do you have lots of sms/mms in your phone? See if clearing sms/mms (best to delete all) helps. Other than that, is your phone almost out of memory? Try uninstalling some redundant apps.
If all the above did not help, perform a factory reset. Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset.
If still did not help, proceed with Software Repair. Here's the download link to Update Service, http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/. Download and install to PC/Laptop, launch it and follow on-screen instructions.
Be aware that both Factory data reset and Software Repair will erase phone data completely, backup if necessary.
Let us know how it goes ....

Thank you for reply, gwhispererz.
I don't think so that the problem is memory, since there's more than 2 gb free. Anyway, I tried to delete all old messages but it didn't solve this bug.
Now, I'm going to apply the factory reset. Later, I'll post the results.
Apparently, it worked!
If some other problem appears, I will post it here.
Thank you really much.
Great! Glad that your effort paid off!
Hello gwhispererz!
I just want to share my dilemma which is somehow the same as the stock messaging of my sony xperia x keeps on crashing or freezing upon opening. This is the 1st time it happened and just right after the most recent update (version 34.3.A.0.217). Now i'm seeing 39 times application not responding. I literally cant use the stock messaging. I tried most of the steps like deleting all the messages, uninstalling most of the application (3rd party) and even FDR. Still the same. I tried to look over the web if someone is experiencing this as well but failed. Do you have anything for me that can help?

I will answer this from non-general point of view ,i.e., technical point
Lots of Android device come with useless apps pre-installed and this happens in each and evry mobile whose OS is android
there is another occurence , manufacturer will load your phone with “experience enhancing” apps
In addition to the above, bloatware is not only affecting the speed and performance of your Android phone, but they also drain the heck out of your battery. A great app I found to identify these nasty apps is “Package Disabler Pro”, that identifies them for you and lets you disable them manually.
Once installed and opened, you will see a long list of Android services. and at last tdelete all theunused apps, and move the large space consuming apps to memory card
