hi. I have a Sony KDL EX553 tv which used to be ‘hard wired’ into a socked in the wall (ie when the electrician installed it he cut off the plug and wired it directly into a fused socket in the wall).
We have had some building work done and the TV was taken down (as was the wall socket it was wired into)
I now want to put a plug back on it so I can use it elsewhere, however I do not know what size/rating fuse to use. Can anyone advise please?
thanks.

Hi @Wrington Looking at the power consumption in the specifications the maximum is 45W so 0.2A in the UK. Personally I would use a 1A fuse or 3A if 1A is not available.
