Hi,
I have a NAS setup with DLNA that can be accessed on my PC and PS3. However my KDL-22PX300 only picks up the PC as a DLNA server, and not the NAS. I think the NAS is configured correctly as I can see it on my PC and PS3. Any advice appreciated! Thanks
You dont mention the make of the Network Attached Storage.
The DLNA support provided by the Sony is extremely limited anyway - okay for .jpg and .mp3 but video support is severly lacking compared to other DLNA certified devices. Just read through all the problem threads.
You might want to edit your post and remove the MAC address identity.
I have now gone into the server diagnostics section of my tv menu and discovered my NAS server. However it displays the below error message:
Server: VIDEO
UDN uuid:898f9738-d930-4db4-a3cf-080050ea...
ip address: 192.168.0.240
MAC address: XXXXXXXXX
TCP port 49152
The server does not support.
As I said previosuly the server works fine on my PS3 and PC.
Thanks

The Nas is a wlx-652 wth original firmware. I flashed it with snake os first but that din;t seem to have dlna support so reverted to the original firmware.
I've found the TV works fine for DLNA to my Windows 7 PCs, and the NAS works fine for DLNA to my PCs and PS3. If the PC and other Sony products (PS3) can work with the NAS why can't the TV? Surely the whole point of DLNA is ease of interaction between certified devices? Does the Bravia TV need a firmware fix?
