KDL-52W5500 tv to output sound to DAV-DZ380W when watching SKY on TV?

It works ok when I watch the Digital TV on the telly, but when I switch to SKY (Connected via a HDMI cable) I lose the surround sound? I have connected a digital audio cable from my TV to the Audio device, and I am connected to the audio device with both SCART and HDMI cables.

thanks - I've tried every combination, but nothing seems to work

SKYHD - to Audio - nothing

TV to AUDIO - nothing

Changed cables - nothing

I just think I've been sold a pup and that SONY products are very poor at connecting to anything - even their own products

Try to set HDMI control function to on or of. On TV do so... manu-settings-sound-speakers-audio system.
