non BBC content on iplayer

The BBC released an iPlayer with non BBC  programmes. I have no problem viewing them on the pc  iplayer. Unfortunately this features remains hidden on the Bravo. The BBC programmes are there. Do I need to download a new version of the iplayer, if so how? Thanks

same question, i have the iplayer on my TV but the new channels are not there. Says my software and firmware are both up to date when i check for updates.

This would be down to the BBC and other channels if they decide to launch this feature through iPlayer on BRAVIA/Playstation etc. My guess is at the moment they don't have the rights to launch it on the TV at the present moment, only the PC ( rights are different), and not aware of any imminent plans to do this.

Sony are the gateway to content - we don't exert editorial control over the type or volume of content on the different services. That is down to the rights holders, e.g. BBC, FIVE, Lovefilm etc.
