Hi there,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

Can you let me know the full model of your BRAVIA TV?

Best wishes,

VEWD is removed from my Sony W66E. Kindly add any m3u player in upcoming W66E software.

Hi Calliesam,

That's very strange. I believe you can refresh the connection to the server, the feature is called Refresh Internet content. You can do that by pressing Home - Settings - Network - Refresh Internet content.

Tried that. Internet is fine just no streaming apps. All are gone from the menu. Last software upgrade turned 50” Bravia smart tv into a paper weight. Have always bought Sony electronics for last 30+ years. Now will replace every sony in house and will NEVER purchase another Sony product. Sony has not been helpful in resolving issue.

Hi @calliesam

It’s a good excuse to update your vintage 2011 TV to 4K HDR before 8K becomes the norm 😀

You should note that this is a user community, so nobody cares if you NEVER buy a Sony product again. But I can certainly understand your frustration.

Just in case you are not aware, you could add a Fire TV or Roku Stick to give you a host of streaming services if you are interested in increasing the longevity of your TVs.

Hi Calliesam,

Have you tried connecting the TV to a different network? It might be network connection related.

Cheers,
