Using headphones on my KDL32WD756

I have been using a Sennheiser RS130 headphone set on a TV for many years. It will not work on my new Sony TV through either the phone socket or the scart socket. Any ideas please.

Hi Win_88. I used a different headphone set and had the same problem. I found in the Settings an option to use Headphones or Speakers. When I switched it to Headphones, the Speakers were silent.  I use the headphones so that I can independently control the volume for me whilst my wife can watch and listen through the speakers. S

Hi Marcus,

I think the first thing to do here is to test the TV's socket first by connecting any pair of headphones to see if it will work. If it does, then I wouldn't consider the TV to be faulty. And if you're positive the the Sennheiser headphones are fine, then it could be a compatibility issue between the devices.

o it appears that you can have either one or the other not both. Thanks for your suggestion.
