audio problem VGN-FS515E

I have installed Windows 8 on my laptop Vaio model VGN-FS515E. Everything works apart from the fact that I cannot get any sound from the installed Windows audio driver.  Can anyone help please?   Andrew

Sony will not be providing Windows 8 support for this model.


The VGN-FS515E has the ALC260 - 2-Channel High Definition Audio Codec audio chipset - try a Google for a compatible driver.
