Does anyone have any experience with the caching software that uses a smaller SSD drives as a cache? My VAIO (SVT1511C5E) came with ExpressCache software which fulfills this function, but it is quite limited in giving away what it actually does (ie. you can't get any information on which parts of the hard drive are cached). But firstly, has anyone tried measuring performance with and without ExpressCache. I presume that to get the "without" results one just has to stop the ExpressCache service?
