I've just had to replace a damaged hard drive on a Sony Vaio VPCJ21M1E All-in-One Desktop PC.
I also needed to install a fresh copy of Windows 10 Pro, as the recovery partition was not accessible. While the install went well. the touch screen is no longer working. If I look at the Device Specifications in Windows Settings, it says "No pen or touch input is available for this display".
Since the chipset drivers for this model are no longer available from the Sony website, I have no idea how to restore the touchscreen functionality. Can anyone direct me to a driver for the touch screen that will work with Windows 10?
Hi @itm1960
I recommend that you get in touch with service centre for the Vaio laptops because, there are no spare parts for these models any more, but I believe the service centre will be able to suggest what to do exactly. You can find them here: https://locator.sony/en_GB/servicecenters/ed47dfb6-2a56-4353-827f-92f3dbe2384f?zoom=15&latitude=51.3...
