1. How do I register this model of laptop on the Sony site? It doesn't appear in any of the dropdown boxes on te product registration screens.
2. If I cant register it, how can I get support?
3. Í tried to telephone them, it is a premium rate number and after waiting for long time (and therefore paying Sony quite a lot) I gave up. Is there any way to talk to a human being? Without paying too much?
THank you for any help.

I've just corrected a typo. The model is SVT13128CXS. Sorry about that.
Hi forthefifthtime,
welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..:smileyhappy:
Did you purchase this Vaio in the UK as I can only see it listed on the US site..:smileyconfused:
It was bought in America, 5 or 6 months ago.
The model number isn't recognized on any Sony web site that I have found.
Thank you for replying, any ideas what I should do to register it?
Not completely sure on the process but have you tried registering your Vaio via the Vaio Care application on your Vaio.?

Here is a link to your vaio on the US support site - Vaio SVT13128CXS
THanks for that link, nce to know that the thing does exist. I can't register it through that VAIO Care application.
I have an online chat running with SOny right now, but the guy is kust sending me in circles. Thank you again for your time.
Hopefully you'll get your vaio registered with help of Sony online chat, if not, then post again & we'll try to assist further..:smileyhappy:
forthefifthtime, did you manage to register your vaio succesfully.?
Yes, but only by pretendinng to be in America. I now have to argue with Sony about support:. The UK esupport says the model doesn't exist, and telephoning the toll-free number in the UK doesn't work because it won't acknowledge that US model is still under warranty.
I seriously wonder how Sony survives as a multi-national organiation. They seem incapbable of taking a global viewpoint.
If you have registered your Vaio in the USA, have a look at the Vaio International Repair Service link here: -
