Recovery media for non-uk vaio

I am here talking in behalf of my relative.

He brought a vaio laptop at australia (VPCSB28GG) about a year ago, and now the laptop requires a clean install due to malwares and generally not running system maintenance. He seemed to have received a recovery media, but seems to be of the wrong laptop model and only seems to have 1 of the two CDs required. I decided to do a clean install with a use of win 7 .ISO using a USB stick, but was not successful as it asked for drivers which i do not know how to accquire.

So now I need to get hold of the recovery media, but the laptop model seems to be only available in Asia. He has moved to the UK, thus would it be possible to get a hold of the recovery media through the UK branch by any chance?

Hi Ramjali,

Unfortunately Sony Europe cannot supply recovery media for Asia Pacific models.

The drivers are available to download from the following link:
