Vaio F13E1E/H cpu speed low on battery

I have this notebook and I upgraded the bios to R0190Y9 with the sony upgrade tool. All went excellent. After that my cpu runs on 1.19 Ghz on battery and it never speed up like when it's on ac power. If I connect the ac power it speeds up on 2.70 + Ghz with no problem. I updated the drivers. In vaio care or in vaio control there isn't any setting to change. Is there a new bios to update or a edited version that fixes that?

Thanks in advance for the info, sorry for my English. I'm from Greece.

Rich912 do you know if I can rollback to previous version of Bios (R0180Y9) and if you have the file? I can't find it anywhere on the internet.

If it is at all possible only Sony Support will be able to assist on this. Whatever you do don’t download and flash anything that doesn’t come from Sony or you could wreck the machine.

I guess that next time I will buy a dell because sony vaio are overpriced and my model has overheating isssues from the very begining. Cleaning and changing (the very hard now) thermal paste didn't work.

Hi everyone

I have the exact same problem as Atomakis1992.

I have a VPCF13L8E (windows 7), and the exact same BIOS version (R0190Y9).

I tried to diable CPU C3/C6 in the bios, but as Atomakis 1992 it didn't help.

I also tried to change the processors power management, to 100PERCENTAGESIGN.

It should also be noted that I don't have a battery in my laptop.

Does sony usually have this kind problem?

Thanks in advance.
