Help! Please! I initially thought I had the BSOD but launched in repair mode and logged on perfectly. Looked at photos/documents then clicked on stuff I had downloaded (BBC iplayer to be exact) then McAfee popped up with an 'adware' problem but before I could click on 'Remove' the screen went funny and filled with fast moving lines mostly going across. I switched off the wifi router and was able to work offline with no problem. Soon as I switched the router back on to go online, the same thing happens. My laptop is a few years old now (2gb ram 200gb HDD) but top of the range at the time. It is also running very, very slow.
Ran a McAfee scan it came with 2 problems but they were quarantined.
Do not know if it is a virus related problem or hardware problem? Just don't know what it is but it still works fine off line albeit very slow.
Can some one please help?
