Accelerometer stops working

The accelerometer of my x performance stops after some days so auto-rotate and other stuff does not work anymore until I reboot...

Disabling Google App helped for 3 days. After I've used Maps bug had returned.( Waiting for fix, very disappointed.

Disable location history as mentioned is temporary fix the problem which it work fine from yesterday until now

Hello ! 

i just got a NEW sony xperia Xpreformance and the auto screen stops working all the time. i tryed the dignostic but its failing . same with the shaking sencor .

I have  had this phone for 2-3 weeks. and i notis it when i was watching youtube that i couldnt get fullscreen with just rotating  the phone to the side.

Its working after i restart the phone . but i dont want to restart it eveytime. 

do you have any tips what i can do ?

Thank you for raising this.

Our development team is currently investigating this as a number of people are reporting that they are experiencing that the Xperia™ X Performance has issues with the accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, ambient light, proximity and the barometer. The auto screen rotation also may not not work anymore. As a workaround, try to restart your device. We are working on a solution. A new software version will be available within November, 2016.

Note! Software rollouts are a phased process – timings & availability may vary by market/carrier.

Was fine for 2 days, then after charging my phone it just stopped working again

Yes charging and google app or google maps seems to bring about this issue. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this issue. When I chatted with support via chat, they didn't seem aware of this issue. The chat guy also did not offer to check my logs like others have reported as well as the email having said the did logs and are aware. They wanted me to repair their software and I did so with out my sim card in. I had my sim in another phone to answer calls. So when I put my sim card back in, it initiated the whole repair again!!! So twice I had to restore settings and apps and permissions!! 4 hours wasted! The guy wanted me to send my phone in as the problems returned...

I have same problem on my 2 Xperia XP, too. One of the XP is for my wife. It just stops auto-rotate a while after we boot it up, no matter what APPs we have used. I really don't think lt's caused by some APP we installed. We have almost the same APPs installed on our previouse phones. (one is HTC ONE and the other is Samsung Note 2) and never have such problem for 3 years
