Call recognition problems

Does not recognize contacts in calls after the last update, how can I fix this problem

I have the same problem after making updates, the call log appears the number but not the contact name and in the contacts directory are saved, how do I solve?

Hi @Carlos9210, @Jac78, @Miltongla & @Kari82,

Please backup your contacts (as a precaution)(Contacts-->the three dots in the top-right corner-->Import/export-->Export to SIM card/Export to SD card or internal storage (.vcf file)).

Once you have done this, try to remove the data for Contacts:

Settings-->Device-->Apps-->Contacts-->Storage-->Clear Data

Finally, restart your smartphone and then open Contacts.

Contacts should re-synchronize with your Google/Google Apps account and with a little luck, the telephone numbers in your recent calls list will show the names instead... Just be aware though, that the telephone numbers in Contacts must match the telephone numbers in the recent calls list exactly; it shouldn't matter whether they're in international format or not though - but it is recommended to save them in international format, for a variety of reasons.
