Confused about Xperia X and fast charging

I have always thought that the Xperia X does not have any type of fast charging.

It only have this QNOVO technology.

But someone mentioned that their Xperia X comes with UCH-10 which is a fast charger? Mine comes with UCH-20.

The charging does appears quite fast when I am connecting it to my Anker 6 port usb charger. Anyone have more info of have done any type of tests?

Hi @ykphuah,

The Sony Xperia X supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, which the charger UCH10 does aswell. The charger UCH20 does unfortunately not support Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 so in order to utilize this feature you will need a new charger.

The content that's in the box with the phone can vary between markets. Contact your Local support to check what should and should not be in the box with your phone.

You advertise it as a fast charger, and ship it with a charger that doesn't support fast charging? No wonder people are confused!

Hello. I got a Q.C 3.0 charger for my Xperia X and the charging current is only 1800mA. 1300 is for the stock charger. Is there anything that can be done to make it charge as fast as it is supposed to?

Are you using it together with the supplied USB cord? Try to bring your charge to 10percent and time the charge until 90bpercent. Compare with the standard charger

Yes with supplied USB cord, also tried a very short one i had for fast charging, still the same. i charged it from 30%. I will try to drain the battery fast and try from red LED indication to charge it

You have to use the same usb cable that comes with it. First you clear all the apps running background. Restart the phone and again switch it off. Wait for 3,4 mins and charge the phone. Don't use the multi plugs , straight plug the charger adaptors into the wall switch . Have a look after 8, 10 mins. Even if this dosen't work then there's some issues in your phone or the charger set.
