Agree partly on that but ant+ is in a way working snappier with sending my data in my experience... and all hardware for bike ant+ comp. too.... Reason for me of using Sony and not LG/SS etc etc... Don't built quality of other manufacturers....

Yes I am mad that a lot of stuff has been canned. Apparently this chipset is capable of using quick charge 3.0 but we only have 2.0 enabled... why do you clip our wings sony???

I'm glad and also sad that I found this discussion...

As I former Z1 user I was using it with my 4 ANT+ devices.

Unfurtanetely the screen got broken and I couldn't use it anymore.

So it's time for a replacement.  

Here in Canada I can get X Performance for $0 with 2 years contract, which is really good deal I think.

I almost was going to buy it today but decided to check for some forums and read what people are discussing.

I was shocked when I found that X Performance does not have ANT+

Now I have to rethink and wait more or go with S7 serries, etc.

I too am due an upgrade. With this news, I am opting for the Samsung S8. It is ant+ and Bluetooth compatible. What a stupid move by Sony. So many cyclists using ant+.
