"Double tap to wake" feature wakes the phone in the pocket

Hello. Am I the only one who have this problem? When double tap to wake feature is enabled the phone randomly wakes inside my pocket and starts calling random numbers and so on. Is it possible to somehow use proximity sensor in this case for the phone to know that it is not in the hand right now?

it has been asked before, you can have double tap to wake up plus a pattern lock, that should prevent the phone from butt-dial anyone

Thanks! But I use smartwatch as a trusted device to disable pattern lock (hate it) or fingerprint lock when devices are near each other. So I disabled Double tap to wake feature for now and really hope Sony developers will read this post If Xperia could use proximity sensor to detect its state when (doubletapto)waking up that coud solve this problem.

@Alfsoft that sounds more a task for Google and the Android team rather than Sony, you may want to send your feedback to them but try anyway to leave your feedback to contacting your Local support
