Sony Xperia Performance - Display is not showing incoming call when sleeps

Latest update is installed. Build version: 39.2.A.0.417

When receiving incoming call when my display is dark/sleep it is only ringing. When i push power button then display is turned on and i can see notification of incoming call. But if sound is off, then i miss all incoming calls.

When phone is unlocked there is also nothing about incoming call screen, only small notification in status bar and rington calling.

Almost same problem as described here. But accepted solution can't help me.

Settings-apps-all,scroll down to incall ui

I don't see this application in that list, even if show system processes is enabled. Phone got Russian language selected.

@aleha Any chance you have a screen protector or the proximity sensor could be dirty?

You could also test your device in safe mode (power button menu, press longer on turn off and restart in safe mode).

There is no screen protector, and proximity sensor is clean.

Restarted device in safe mode, but same behavior achieved. Phone is ringing but display stay black.

Can you test the proximity sensor in settings - diagnostics?

I have got the exat same issue, same phone and same software build. Proximity sensor turns out fine in diagnostics, and cannot find the IncallUI option in the settings on my phone. My phone was working fine up until a short while ago, so I wonder if this is related to an update.

@aleha@EverBap In this case, I would suggest a software repair using XPC:

Before i will do this "repair", maybe this behavior is "normal"? Well, i mean, developers of android 7.0 decided to remove this notification (turning screen on and showing caller info) of incoming call in sleep mode?

This software repair will erase all data from phone? It is like factory reset? But where is the guarantee, that after the installation of all the necessary updates (if they will be needed again) this behavior (Display is not showing incoming call when sleeps) will not come out again?

Usually we recommend a software repair when there is nothing else helping, like in your case. The behaviour is not normal, the display should wake up and notice you of any incoming calls.

I noticed one thing, but I am not sure if it is related or not - under Settings - Apps - Phone it appears that Notifications are set to "Silenced". No matter what I change in the settings here that status remains unchanged. And I will be trying the repair once I've backed up my phone.
