Text messages stuck in sending status

Hi, I have a problem with sending text messages after the recent June security patch update. Messages are frequently stuck in "sending" status, only way to remedy is to restart the device. It appears that actually messages are sent, because sometimes I get responses to messages in sending status. I am on Nougat 7.1.1 June security patch. Unlocked device, Czech Republic.

try to clear message app cache

settings>apps>show system>messages>clear data restart device

try to send sms while you are on safe mode

perform software repair using Xperia Companion
