top speaker disabled xperia x in incall speaker

this is a bug... you have to enable both speakers all the time.. if u thibk of any quality or safety issues make an option. but with this u r cutting down the sound to half by enabling only bottom speaker. No way this is acceptable.. you can find so many users suffering from this issue. you have to fix it.

I just posted my experience on another thread tonight:

"Hi, I have an Xperia X but after updating to Android 7.0 I noticed the Overall volume level of max speaker output is low whether it's music or making calls using loud speaker on and off. The volume level Indoors is just ok but becomes an issue once outside or in a car. There just isn't enough coming out of the speakers with the given values Sony has programmed.

Is this an ongoing problem with Updated Xperias to Android 7.0 or is there something else that's happening? Is there any updates to increase overall performance in these areas?

Thanks!"

But if you don't believe us have a look at this thread: Sound soft after Nougat

Help us Obi Sony, you're our only hope!

Nothing to do any other user, you can test your xperia phones, in in-call speaker mode top speaker is disabled. Thats not accepted because your cutting the phone volume to half, and thats not enough at all, the whole point of keep in the audio in speaker mode is to make the sound louder.

Give an option, to disable or enable. This is a serious flaw.

It  is nothing to do with android update, test your phone by calling someone and keep in speaker mode, and check your top speaker, it will be disabled. Not accepted.

This is indeed a safety feature, and not only on Xperia X, it's there on mostly every Sony phone. It's there to protect users ears from extra loud sounds in case they forget they are on speaker mode and put the phone on their ears.

If you think this is not so convenient for you, you can always drop your suggestions/feedbacks at your Local support. Contact them and discuss the issue with them.
