Xperia x compact 7.1.1 update problem

Hello, after an update, all my contacts with photos are losts. They were not on a google account. I think they were only on my phone. Someone knows this problem ?

Do you mean all of your contacts are lost, or just the ones that previously had photos have gone/just their photos have gone?

Would be unusual for a software update to delete anything on the phone, I've never ever seen this happen with any of my devices. 

I use an app called Sync.Me to get my contacts photos from their Facebook accounts.
