I got my Xperia X Compact a month ago, and from the start I’ve had this problem.
When I listen to music or podcasts with headphones, the volume often lowers to zero. When I try turning it up again, the volume immediately goes back down. In other words, I can’t use my phone for playing audio.
Usually it starts right away. But at other times I can play music for 10 or 20 minutes before the volume starts to lower. There’s no real pattern as to when it works and when it doesn’t.
I’ve tested different headphones, and even tried using Spotify in safe mode, but the problem persists. I’ve read about people having similar problems, but they usually seem to disappear when in safe mode.
Does anyone have similar issues and ideas about how to solve it?
