Hi guys.
I usually feeI my phone pretty hot. So i use cpu-z to test my cpu temperature.
It's around 38°C while laying idle and 43 while gaming.
The ambient temp is 26 - 28°C.
Is that ok or something gone wrong?
Of course try to avoid overheating.
Find out what causes it, which apps, which circumstances.
Overheating can damage the device slowly.
In case of real overheating the device warns you that for instance taking videos is not possible.
I bought a smartphone Xperia X in June 2017 and now I am having heating problems when I record videos longer than a minute (indoors and outdoors). I reset the device and the problem remains. The only solution is taking the phone to a Sony Service Center??? It is a pretty expensive device to have this kind of problem after a short period of time. I'm very disappointed with Sony and this smartphone.
Does your Xperia X still overheat when you record in 1080 30fps?
@Fito_Arg
It is a known problem.
Best thing to do is start taking video with a cold device.
Maybe there are apps running in the background which also heart the device. Try to stop avoidable apps from running.
You might want to try if background apps are related.
- press on/off button
- long press Power Off
- choose restart in safe mode
- after restart start taking videos
- see what happens
- stay cool!
i am using Xperia X F5122, bought befor 42 days ago, scence start, it is having this heating issue.
while video recording in 1080p 60fps, and taking photos also.
60fps is deadly for the device, for its temperature.
Best thing to do is accept it as a fact and switch to 30fps, the standard setting
