OMA Client Provisioning notification stuck

After the most recent update I'm having trouble with this OMA client provisioning.

It started asking me to configure which I had to do about 20 times and reboot the phone to make it stop.

Now I'm stuck with a notification which just says OMA Client Provisioning all the time. I cannot clear it. I have notification dot and make sound both turned off. How on earth do I clear it?

First person who says do a factory reset gets a black eye. I've already done 2 factory resets on this phone in 6 months. I have a life to lead. The answer is to fix the bugs not factory reset every five minutes.

I will never have a Sony again after all the trouble I've had with connectivity. And everybody I know is going to know how useless this phone is.
