Xz3 sleep mode

I have an xz3 that if I leave the phone the screen will go into standby mode, but if I am driving the screen will stay on all the time, unless I press the power button to put it into standby mode

It probably stays on waiting for the action you'd like to take, whether play music or make a call. I'm not sure that this is an issue, it's normal
