Cannot update the LA-EA1 with a Nex5n

Hi Friends;

I need information about firmware update of the LA-EA1 with the Nex5n, smeaone has done this procedure? i cannot make it work, the firmware update software do not recognize the Nex5n.

My LA-EA1 is version 0.1 and the latest is 0.2 but i don´t know if the update must be done just to work with a prior models to the 5n Nex camera.

I don´t have any Alpha lens right now, i don´t know if this can be a problem for the updater?

Hi Douglas, welcome to the Sony Forums

According to the update web page, you need to have an alpha lens attached to perform the operation.

No way!

I´ve tried with a lens (tamron) try in Mac and PC and still does not recognize the Nex 5n, both version of the updater the Nex 5/3/C3 and the Nex VG10, and nothing.
