Sony a7ii with flash transmitter

Hi all,

I'm using my Sony a7ii with a Godox flash & transmitter. When I plug the transmitter onto the hotshoe and turn the transmitter on I can no longer fully get a correct liveview or viewfinder image based on my shutter speed / aperture. The preview image seems to adjust itself rather than change to reflect the actual exposure. I wanted to change the shutter speed to darken the ambient light but, although the actual aperture and shutter speeds have an effect on the exposure I can't see this reflected in the viewfinder / LCD screen which makes it hard to judge. I found an option for the setting effect and tried turning this off and on but that didn't solve the issue. I'm having to switch the transmitter off to see the actual ambient exposure and switch it on again to make the exposure. This also happens on my RX1.

Does anyone know if there is a way round this other than switch off the transmitter. Or is there a menu setting I've overlooked perhaps?

Cheers,

Dayve
