Inputs screen always displayed on switch-on
As per the thread title. Every time I switch on the tv (KD-49XG8096) the inputs screen is displayed instead of the television. It always points to the HDMI-1 channel even though there's nothing plugged in there. I only have a soundbar attached which is in the HDMI-3 (ARC) Audio input. What gives? It's more of a nuisance than a major problem but annoying all the same. Anyone got any idea how how to solve this issue?
Thanks.

Hello @pec771,
on my (Google TV) I have a setting for what the TV should do after it is switched on. Maybe your TV has a similar setting hidden in the options.

Cheers. Had a look last night but couldn't find anything. Will try again.

Hey pec771, do you turn the TV off on that? If no, try unplugging the TV and the external devices for a couple of minutes then give it another try.

Hi Hannah. I switch the TV on/off with the remote. It's always on the TV channel when I switch off at night. I unplugged the TV last week and forgot about it for 24 hours! No change, sadly. I don't think I unplugged the soundbar though, would that help?

Hi @pec771, That might be a software glitch, have you tried checking the software version on your device?
You can update it through the system software update option on the help menu.
