My xperia x10 mini won't turn on!

My phone froze so I had to restart it, but it turned itself off instead and now it won't turn back on, anyone know why? or what i can do?

Hi, of course you can sent it back, but if you find it useful, SE is beginning to update Android to 2.1 xperia series. It will begin in Europe and then the rest of the world, but their goal is to deploy that update worldwide by the end of November, so if you bought a Xperia, it was for a reason, so maybe it's a good idea to wait until you can update and if it doesnt solve your issues, then you should return it. Of course, its just my opinion, maybe with AT&T you have other android models to choose from.

I took the phone back and they gave me a New one..Hopefully this one will work properly.

I have the same problem with 1.6, just asking someone who have this prob, and do update to 2.1....

hi everyone i have a x10 mini pro and had the same prob"after the battery is fully drained the phone wont switch on".i found a easy step to solve this no data loss no hardware reset.follow thest steps:

1.connect the usb cable to your pc

2.keep the phone with sim card,battery everything.

3.now just hold the back button and plug the usb cable to you phone while holding and keep holding for some time.

4.the red light will start blinking and it will be blinking continuously until the battery is charged and the phone switches on.

tats it u r phone is back with all data and same sim.easy way.sorry for my bad english and for any other clarification please contactme: siddharthsure@gmail.com

just to add some more info about "turn on" problem:

Here in Serbia we got 3 providers, MTS, Telenor and Vip. I am using MTS card (unfortunately:smileyhappy:  ) and when i turn off my phone , ofc there is a problem. But, my cellphone works fine with all other cards (from Telenero and Vip also). So maybe some cards with our x10 mini software create early mentioned error. I hope so ,that new android 2.1 update will solve this problem, or i will return my phone and take money back.
