Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc (LT15i) keeps on restarting itself (reboot loop)

Hi, greetings!

can anyone help me? I've been having this continous and annoying reboot loop problem since yesterday in my Xperia Arc. It started when the phone started to lagg a bit then i tried removing the battery from the case, tried turning it on after a few minutes then this reboot loop started to occur. Since then it hasn't made a single successful boot. Tried connecting it to a PC to try and solving it using a PC companion but the app can't recognize the device due to consistent reboot looping. I tried removing the SD card and/or the SIM as it might cause the problem, I aslo tried inserting a small bit of paper as everyone suggests online inside the battery case, still no luck. .any ideas?

P.S.

I tried browsing for some ideas for repair in these forums but the processes kinda confuses me. I just need a clean and easy repair ASAP. Thanks guys!

@arcs87

Could you elaborate on the issue? have you try different USB ports, cables, computers?

@uliwooly

few weeks ago ,my arc s went into boot loop upon turning the bluetooth teethering on.. i followed your steps about SUS and installed new os. yesterday upon turning the bluetooth on, it did the same..now Sony stopped the update service and refering us to use pc companion...the problem is pc companion can not detect the phone in the boot loop ,like the SUS did.. so im stuck Slightly_smiling_Face

@arcs87

just remove the battery > run PCC as if you were going to update your phone > connect the phone > place the battery back on and make sure to press the power & volume down key at the same time, it might do the trick
