Xperia GO has no network signal(no service)

xperia go has no network signal and I need to reboot my phone to be able have a network signa.

I am sure this not a sim card or a network provider problem because in my previous phone I never experienced this problem.

This is so annoying I missed a lot of calls.

Is this bug on the firmware of XPERIA 2012 Family?

You can see the red x mark at the top of signal bars indicating that there is no signal.

Hi all!

I'm having a problem with network connection on my xperia go. When I turn it off and on, type the SIM password (which is accepted), there is no service, just emergency calls. It needs hours to connect to service. Sometimes it also loses connection just like that, no matter what I'm doing with the phone, it just loses service. I'm running Jelly Bean, last update available. I've just reinstalled ROM via PC Companion (repair function) and the problem didn't disappear.

Sometimes it also has problems with mobile internet connection. Even if it's connected to service, internet won't work. Sometimes it also loses connection to service when trying to turn on and use internet.

Is there a deeper problem than in Android? Some kind of phone BIOS or maybe hardware failure?

The problem was the SIM card (~8 years old) which I replaced with another one and the problem disappeared. So I bought a new SIM card and the phone goes on.

Download sony update service or pc companion.

I have the same problem. I did reset and changed the network mode to manually but it didn't work. It says that there us no service. It get fixed after restarting but just for a few seconds plzzz help me how to fix it

I bought one for my dad.. Same issue here !!!!!

Been sending back to the store for warranty and it's still the same!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think my dad only manage to touch the phone for less than a week since i bought the phone 4 month ago ....

Sigh ... Advice anyone??

I have a sola, and today I get no reception at all. I have tried other phones on the same network and they work fine. Also the Sony phone goes into boot loops all the time and GPS stopped working a few months ago. This was the first Sony phone I have owned and it will be the last. I will not recommend Sony to any one now. Not happy Sony. You have lost me as a customer.

My Xperia has been experiencing a similar problem - The Phone says that it has Network signal, but does not let any calls through. The same happens with two further sim cards from European network providers.
