Info Banner

Hi 

I’m trying to turn off the info banner( source banner) on my KD-65XG7002 and I’ve gone into channel set up, but there is no option on “Info Banner”  

There is the option and it’s been turned off on my other Sony KD-55XE8596 

so any pointers to how I go about turning if off on the XG

After reading another thread on here regarding the info banner, someone suggested to turn the Digital Audio output HDMI to normal on my Sky Q box, as I have my sound coming from a AV receiver via optical, I thought I would give it a go and Yippeeeeee it seems to work.

Thanks for you help. I've managed to resolve the issue. Disabled the High Definition Audio Device for the graphics card in device manger. Can I just mention how good a Sony TV actually is. The colours are so rich and deep. It's the best TV I have ever owned and I shall certainly stay with Sony.

No need to thank me, I got the info from another thread, but I’m glad you are sorted as well 👍 

Agree with the Sony picture, I was always a Samsung man, but got my first Sony last year and that was it, so when I needed to replace another Samsung it had to be another Sony.
