Changing SD-Card on xperia x compact

Hi there☺️!

I would like to change the SD-Card from 32 GB to 128 GB. Most of my Apps works from SD-Card, but if i copy the Apps from the smal SD-Card to the big one, they won't work. Wher is my mistake?

Hi @Supetaffe, welcome to our forum!

The best way to do this is to move all apps from your 32 GB SD card back to the internal storage of the phone and then insert your new SD card and move the apps to your new SD card.

If you don't have enough free storage on the internal storage of the phone to move all the applications back to the internal storage, you can move some of them > insert your new SD card > move them to the SD card and then repeat this until all your applications are on the SD card, or you can uninstall the application > insert new SD card > download the application again and move it to the SD card.

To transfer an application back to the internal storage of the phone, go to Settings > Apps > name of the app > Storage > Change.

For media files, such as videos, photos and music. This can be moved directly between the cards using, for example a computer.
